Topic:

Compressed Sensing for Multihop Relay Networks with Correlated Sources

Abstract:

Compressed sensing is a new paradigm for signal sampling which enables to recover a sparse signal from much fewer measurements than the size of the signal. In the first part of this presentation we introduce “distributed compressed sensing” (DCS), which consists in sampling separately several signals with a common structure and reconstructing all signals jointly. A relevant application of DCS is the monitoring of a physical phenomenon by sensors distributed on a geographical area. In the second part of this talk we present the application of DCS to Gaussian relay networks consisting of several sources transmitting correlated signals and one sink reconstructing all signals using convex optimization.
