Abstract

Orthogonal Frecuency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation avoids some of the typical problems of wireless channels that other modulations are not able to solve. It has, however, some drawbacks, like the high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR), that make it a not so good solution. The aim of this project is to study PAPR and how to reduce it. Clipping is a simple technique which does not add extra information to the signal.
